I was just 10yrs old,I have not been with him for the past 4yrs..He
was like a local manager and looked after me really well.however
we both decided to move on and I will always appreciate what

encourage anyone to sing,its the best feeling in the world.Being
in the public eye sometimes has its advantages and disadvantages,however
it comes with the territority.I am only 17 yrs old and i am
not married,but i do currently have a boyfriend.

Question = Lauren, I am working on a track but somehow I have
forgot to put the chords with and notes with the song. I have
been singing the song and I know all the words but it's the
chords I am stuck. Whats your advice?

Hi Ellana,
Great to hear from you,i have obviously received your e-mail
regarding your slight problem but i don,t quite understand what
your asking.The only advice i could give you is speak to any
local musician who can advice you on the chords and keys of
which the song you sing is in.Every vocalist have their own
Key ,For eg,i am recorded quite high because of my range but
this is not always the case to record.The most important issue
is to find the right Key and feel comfortable with it because
at the end of the day it is you that is recording the song.

Hi Dave,
Great to hear from you again,yes i am recording a new album
and the only thing i can say at the moment is that is different
to anything i have done i the past.I am working with two excellent
producers and brilliant song writers called Mark Topham &
Karl Twigg.These guys have written many No 1 hits for the likes
of Westlife, Steps,and many more,they are really busy at the
moment writing new songs for me and i am very excited by the
new sound.

i have never heard you sing before but i am sure by the way
people think of you that you are gifted and i am also happy
to see an artist actually reply to her fans which is always
more pursuading for you as a person. anyway i am kyle and 16
years old i play guitar and write my own music but for the time
being i am focusing on a solo career and for this i will hopefully
be chosen for the x factor auditions that i have applied for
even if i do not get in it will boost my confidents.

Question: Hi Lauren,
First heard your voice some years ago and made a mental note
as you had no recordings to buy at that time, but never forgot
and finally I have your album. Amazing voice - unforced, natural
and unlike any other I've heard which as Pete will know is a
priceless commodity.
Your 'Beyond her years' album is a showcase for your voice and
as such does it'sjob extremely well, but what you need at some
point in the future is a 'big' song of your own to capture the
public's attention, such as 'Somewhere over the Rainbow' did
for Eva Cassidy.
Time is on your side and Pete Waterman has a genuine passion
for both your talent and the business, so it's simply a case
of when rather than if in my opinion. After that preamble then,
my question to you is have you considered writing your own material
either now or in the future?

you may be right regarding a big song just of my own and at
the moment i am working with two fantastic song writers who
are very keen to write for me.I have got an ambition to write
my own material but i would need to be more established then
i would sell the quantity you require for it to be recognized
as a hit in the music business.

Hi Karankaris,
Rick Astley is a wonderful guy who has the most amazing talent.He
wrote two songs for me called the Show and Vacation,these were
both on my debut album which was released when i was just 12yrs
old.Rick is a sensational guy who loves his music and i really
get along him well.

Pete Waterman still involved in your career or have things changed.
I have seen the chatter over on Les Sharma's forum with Karl
Twigg and Craig Hardy... you wouldnt get an answer to anything
out of them.. seem like fun though.. Always looking forward
to hearing something new from you.

Hi Chris,
Great to hear from you. Some of this information is correct
and some is not. First of all Pete Waterman and Steve Jenkins
have a joint Partnership Label named Ebul. This is also a joint
venture with my record Label who are now Sony/BMG. Steve Jenkins
used to be the head of Jive records in London looking after
all the top named acts such as Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake,
Backstreet Boys and N-Sync when they were in this country on
their promotional trails.When Jive records folded, Steve decided
to look after me on a more personal basis and over see all my
choice of songs and recordings. By this Pete felt that he had
his nose slightly shoved out and all choice of music and songs
were chosen by Steve. Pete Waterman still produces some songs
but the majority is done by Mark Topham & Karl Twigg ex
[Steps] producers. These two guys are brilliant and they are
both as excited as me about my next album which should be released
around May2006. Hope this clarifies a few points. I know it
my seem a little long winded but this is the current state of
play with my future recordings.
