off by Local Singing Sensation 16yr old Lauren Waterworth and
the evening was so emotionally charged, I hear, that she could
have generated the whole of Hindley's street lighting for the
rest of the night as a result.

What shocked me most about Lauren was not the age she is, not
how confident she was, as these things we already knew. The
sheer quality of the girl was breathtaking. How can a girl so

a room with 370 people in it, a room which had about 50 rugby
league players in it and they are hard to please let me tell

Andy Prior Big Band Show

It was a delight to have Lauren Waterworth on Andy Prior's
Big Band Show produced at Granada Television...I had met Lauren
when she had sung before at Granada....when she kindly agreed
to be on the Big Band Show we were all very excited. We new
that a talent so young would wow us and impress many others
with the sheer quality and maturity of her voice. She hadn't
sung with a Big Band before so this was a real and new challenge
for her. She rose to the challenge with true professionalism.....what
more could I ask for.....here we had something to impress those
valuable viewers. Thanks Lauren from all on the programme, we
look forward to working with you again...and hopefully soon.....

I
first encountered a very young 8 year old Lauren Waterworth
in 1998. I listened to a tape recording of her singing " Hopelessly
Devoted to You "
I did not know at the time that she was
only 8 years old .
I thought she was about 16 or 18 years
old.
I later met Lauren personally and was
really impressed with her character and self belief.
I knew then that she was special.
I watched her develop, singing such songs
as "Hopelessly Devoted to You", "My heart will go on" ( Titanic
) and was constantly amazed at her most mature voice.
When asked if I would consider being
involved with her Official web site, I accepted gladly.
Lauren is a warm down to earth young
lady with a tremendous talent. Not just blessed with a great
singing voice but also has the natural talent of lyric interpretation.
Her great down to earth personality and sense of humour make
her someone special.
It is a pleasure to be working with her
and her family.

First saw this up and coming artist on
the Gloria Huniford show and Channel 5 last year. Lauren was
discovered by PWL guru and pop idol pundit Pete Waterman. Don't
ask me why I was watching the show (must have been ill)anyway
I thought then she had a stunning voice. I even tried to contact
Pete Waterman to see if we could get some material to big up
on the site but alas he completely ignored my e-mail.
Finally now we have an album and what
an album it is. It's a mixture of Hymns and Christmas carols
which which are superbly produced and performed.
Lauren has an amazing voice for a 14
year old. Yep that's right she's just 14.
Lauren's version of 'Amazing Grace' is,
well amazing (no pun intended).
If this album is anything to go by you
will be hearing an awful lot more of Lauren. And if Pete has
his way she will become the first classical Kylie.

Amazing!
Lauren Waterworth is amazing, as Pete Waterman has said about
his new found talent 'Lauren Waterworth is extraordinary' she
has such amazing vocal maturity especially for her age and ofcourse
what a perfect title for her album 'beyond her years'
Listening to the album you are treated to quite different styles
of songs perfectly sung by Lauren,Lauren's rendition of 'Butterfly
Kisses' brings to mind the vocal ability of Celine Dion whilst
'His Eye Is On The Sparrow' and 'Amazing Grace' lose nothing
to Lauren Hill and Destiny's Child!
This girl is such a lovely,warm hearted
girl who has such determination and dedication-she is a star
and her album is a definite one to buy!
Outstanding Album
Beyond Her Years is a perfect title for this album.It is difficult
to believe that a 14 year old could have such an amazing voice.
The songs really show what a brilliant singer Lauren Waterworth
is. For me her voice control is tremendous and the way she handles
the key and tempo changes in " His eye is on the Sparrow " is
superb.
In particular "His Eye is on the Sparrow" and Butterfly Kisses,
for me are special.
There is something for all ages on this album and I certainly
would recommend it to anyone.
